Union28

Remember back in February when I talked about my love for dark chocolate? The tees, not the sweets! If you don't, you can always check out that post but meanwhile, I have some news for you. Here's a hint:

Same Company, Same Products, Same Mission...NEW NAME!

Why UNION28? Let me break it down for you...

Union: Marriage is a sacred Union.

2: Marriage is an exclusive relationship between 2 - a husband and his wife.

8: ("forever") Marriage is marked by commitment and steadfastness.

That's not all...there is also a new website. New Name = New Website.

How do you access such fine attire? Click on the link or use the following url's: http://www.union28.net/, http://www.myhusbandrocks.net/, or http://mywiferocks.net/. And if you forget and go to the old site, it will bring you to the new one.

While you are there, you might want to check out the new design for the older boys and girls in your life. You know the ones that think they are too old to call you "mommy" or "daddy" anymore? That's okay. They can still let the world know that their "mom" or "dad" rocks with these great new tees.

I've Hit the Big Time

We all know that one way to measure the success of a blogger is by the amount of stuff that is sent to them by corporate America. We've seen the "big name" bloggers tell us about their new and free iPods, CDs, computer software, toys, baby gadgets, etc. All in exchange for a shout out and a review on their sites.

So you can imagine my delight when I was contacted by a PR rep to see if I'd try a new product and then write about it on my blog.

"I MADE IT," I thought as I dreamed about my new iPhone or designer handbag.

And then I received this in the mail...

Yep, the Foot Flush!

"The Foot Flush is the revolutionary new product that retrofits to your existing toilet in just minutes making it hands free. The Foot Flush stomps out germs helping to protect your family in your bathroom.

Does someone you love have a bad back or a disability that makes flushing the toilet difficult? With the Foot Flush you can take the pain out of flushing and possibly give them back some of their independence.

If you have children, you know they sometimes forget to flush. the Foot Flush is great for kids because they like to use it.

The Foot Flush is durable and easy to clean. It may be the best purchase you make this year."

We Just Got Back

Marnie recently reminded me of this new website WeJustGotBack.com. The tagline is "Travel Advice from Families Who Have Been There." This site is different because readers are encouraged to leave their own impressions, cheap finds, and advice from recent trips and to even develop their own destination guide.

You'll find advice on everything from getting value, planning smart, getting there, and lodging and dining. There is also specific advice on every region of the U.S. as well as many neighboring destinations outside the U.S.

Great information is also provided on the different types of vacation (beach, cruise, mountain, theme park, camping, etc) so you can decide if it's a good match for your family.

Definitely check out this well-done site before your next trip!

A New Cleaning Product That Will Change Your Life

Our family had the privilege of visiting The Gang's All Here last weekend. I'm embarrassed to say it was the first time we had been to their new house in three years. We had a great day talking, swimming, eating, talking, swimming, and eating.

Tracy has done an unbelievable job of renovating and updating their house. If any of you are looking for an interior designer, give her a call. And if you're looking for a weekend getaway with the best hospitality this side of the Mississippi, give her a call.

As she was showing me the bathroom, I noticed something hanging in her shower I had never seen before. She tells all about it in this post. Head on over and see what the next best cleaning product is that you'll need to add to your arsenal.

BIZ is the Best

If you've been a mom for any length of time, you know that laundry and stains are a daily occurance. Left to their own devices, stains can take on a life of their own. I've even had stains that appeared gone after washing only to mysteriously reappear a few weeks later.

I know everyone has their own systems and products, but I can't speak highly enough of BIZ. BIZ is color safe for all fabrics and can work miracles. In fact I read on the company's Web site that, "because of its stain fighting and superior cleaning performance, Biz's consumer loyalty is higher than any other bleach additive in the category." I would agree. My best friend told me about it over 6 years ago and she is just as passionate.

I've used it to get out dirt, spit up, poop, chocolate, blood, ink, really bad grass stain, oil, fingernail polish and and a host of other nasty reminders of activities gone bad. It's never let me down!

Pedia-Pak

With summer comes a host of bumps and bruises that all kids seem to collect like badges of honor. Many just require a bandaid, but sometimes an emergency will happen that requires more and many times our medicine cabinets are unprepared.

I was recently introduced to the Pedia-Pak, a specially designed first aid kit for infants and children. This convenient, compact and portable kit is perfect for the car, beach or for use around the home. The Pedia-Pak eliminates trips to the pharmacy in the middle of the night or while on vacation in an unfamiliar environment.

Plus, it's economical by including quality full-sized medical instruments (including a flexible digital thermometer, bandage scissors, and tick remover) that would cost more to purchase separately. Pedia-Pak eliminates the need to run out and buy full packages of everything that you may not need. Full-sized products that go out of date can be costly.

Pedia-Pak also includes a copy of the highly acclaimed first aid book, Emergency Medical Treatment: Infants, Children, Adults by David Manhoff and Stephen Vogel, M.D. It is an excellent resource and guide.

Don't be caught off guard this summer! Check out the Pedia-Pak for your family.

Cleaning Solution

Since having my third child, I have found keeping my house in any sense of order quite difficult. I just can't find the motivation to get my act together. Until yesterday!

Last night we had about 10 people over for dinner. With that as my motivation, I was able to whip this house into shape in just an afternoon. I was a lady with a mission. Piles were put away, the house cleaned and order restored. It was wonderful!

So, I think I've found my new cleaning regiment. Invite people over once a week! Has this worked for anyone else?

Thanks to http://www.flickr.com/photos/amitp/ for the photo!

Put a Little Magic into your Cleaning

Over the last several years, I've told anybody who will listen about the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I discovered it when I was trying to remove black marker from the top of a wooden toychest. Since then, I have yet to find anyone who had a messy problem that the Magic Eraser couldn't handle, and I'm always interested to hear new ways it can be used.

That's why I was thrilled to discover on the Mr. Clean Web site a new feature called "1001 Discovery Lane." You click on any room in the house and read comments from other consumers about how they have used their Magic Eraser in that room. You can even add your own helpful hints.

Also, don't forget to signup for your free coupon for a Magic Eraser before you leave the site. Happy Cleaning!!
