EDIT - it appears that the price online has gone up to $39 today (glad I did this last night), but when I called the store, they are selling it for $30 - some people have reported it ringing up at $21. So, I would call the store to see if it is in stock, and what the price is!

When I was a little girl, I remember going to my cousins' house and watching them have fun on their big wheel and also taking a turn on it. I remember having so much fun - and my male cousins would do things like a spin out or something like that. Well, for over a year, I have been thinking about buying my son(s) a big wheel. I did some research on the original big wheel, and I have to say that I was not impressed with the reviews...and that made me sad! I could picture my sons having a great time on them! However, things changed today!!!!

Mercedes over at Common Sense with Money posted about a great deal on Walmart.com for the Radio Flyer Big Flyer. They are selling it for $30! I have seen this being sold at other stores for almost $80!!! The reviews seemed good, overall. So, if you were thinking of buying one of these for your little kiddo - this might be the time for you to get it! Oh, and don't mention it to my boys, because it is going to be a Christmas present!

One deal that I think is absolutely amazing is the value of their backpacks, bags and lunchboxes. I took advantage of this over a month ago when the color selection was greater but the green is great for boys and the light blue would be pretty for girls. I like the ClassMate Junior for children in elementary school - it's just the right size and Jeter's has already lasted him three years and is good for at least another two. Talk about value. If you go with the light blue backpack, you might want to check out the ClassMate Lunch Box to match. I was tired of buying new lunch boxes every year. Tips On Saving a Few Bucks This Week!

Ok. I admit it. I enjoy saving money. If I can get something that I want for free, I get excited...and try to take advantage of it as much as I am able to.

So, for all of you that live around a Giant food store, here are a few tips to help you get five products for free, or under a buck! (this is for you, Natalie!)

In the Sunday paper two weeks ago, there was a sheet of Giant coupons - these same coupons (plus one more) can be found in a Giant magazine that is located by the carts when you walk into the store (it would probably be found at customer service too) - by the weekly flyer. The magazine says, "Giant, Celebrating 85 years", it has a girl on it holding a bag of groceries and it says on the front - $21 in coupons. Hopefully you will easily spot it with those descriptions!

Anyway, there are a bunch of coupons in there that you can use as you please, but the ones that I was excited about are located about 2/3 of the way through the book. It is a two page spread and has the following coupons in it - I will also let you know what I have bought, just to give you ideas. My goal was to get items that I need that I would pay less than a buck for - but you can do as you please! The prices that I wrote are before the coupon is used - and remember, there are lots of other choices, this is just what I bought...so far!
