Works-for-me-Wednesday: Money Saver

This is one of the best money saver tips I've gotten in a long time and it's complements of my hair dresser. I do it with the below hair product, but you can do it with anything that comes in a tube.

Just when you've squeezed and squeezed and you think you've gotten the last bit of product out...

Take your scissors and cut the tube in half.

You'll be amazed at how much is still left in the tube. Usually I can go another week just scraping the inside out.

To store, just place the top half over the bottom half.

And that money saving tip works for me at this late hour on Wednesday. For more great tips and ideas, visit Shannon at Rocks in my Dryer.

great tip!

And I also wonder about the bottles (eg. Shampoo)

Great tip! We add water and swish to get the last remaining shampoo out of bottles.

Well, go figure! I would have never *ever ever* thought of that on my own. Wow, think of all the money you are going to say me - lovin' it! Thank you!! :)

That is a wonderful tip! I always feel aggravated when I am not able to squeeze more out of the tube but know that it is still in there! Bet this works on toothpaste, too!

Thanks for sharing!
