Chicken Broccoli Divan - from the Campbell's Kitchen Recipe Collection
1 pound fresh broccoli, cut into spears or 1 package (about 10 oz) frozen broccoli spears, cooked and drained.
1-1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken or turkey
1 can (10-3/4 oz) condensed Broccoli Cheese Soup (regular or 98% fat free). You can also substitute this with Cream of Chicken soup.
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
2 Tbs dry bread crumbs
1 Tbs butter, melted
1. Place the broccoli and chicken in a 9-inch pie place or an 11x8 inch shallow baking dish.
2. Stir the soup and milk in a small bowl. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Sprinkle with the cheese, if desired.
3. Mix the bread crumbs with the butter in a small bowl. Sprinkle over the cheese.
4. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes or until hot.
This recipe was easy and my family loved it. Jeter said that this was the Best! Chicken! Dish! Ever! Both boys ate what was on their plate and requested seconds. There weren't any leftovers which was fine with me.
My total prep time was actually 30 minutes rather then the 15 minutes stated in the recipe but that is because I had to cut up and cook the chicken. For those that are health conscience, I would suggest selecting a soup that is low in sodium.
Excellent dinner for the family that desires to incorporate dinners together amidst the busy-ness of evenings filled with sports and activities.

OOooooooh, we love this one! My mom makes a version of it "the old fashioned way" (without the soup as the base of the sauce) and that one is good too! We rarely have left overs of this one, or the other one I make that is similar. I'll have to post that soon. Your boys would like it if they like this one.
Have an awesome spring day!
