I Know We're Like the Last People Left on the Planet.....

....who don't have a Wii.

But, that is going to change on Christmas morning because I just bought one a few weeks back at one of my favorite stores. It is safely hidden (although, my youngest daughter was with me and I have her sworn to secrecy).

I'm wondering if all you experienced Wii people out there can recommend what we should have, must have and should not bother having to go along with this system. I have 3 girls age ranges of turning 7 this week to 12 1/2. I must add that this is the ONLY gift they are getting from us and my aunt/uncle and grandmother. I will be sending out a list to the other family members for accessories and games. It came with Mario baseball and an extra remote and nunchuck or numchuck or woodchuck or something like that???

Can you please help? "Wii" would greatly appreciate it (ha! ha!). Get it? "Wii" like "we"?

Okay. I'm done now.

That's great. SHHHHH we bought one for christmas too. I don't know what girls would like but I can tell you what we did get. We bought the wii fit and it comes with 40 games some girls might like. Mario cart with the wheels is a blast. We also like the carnival game series for family time.
Make sure you get the extra remotes because a lot of the games have up to 4 players. If you have any sports games I highly recommend the sports packs for remotes. You can tell I have been waiting two years for this. It is actually all I am getting for christmas too!

Sounds like a trend. Wii are getting one for Christmas as well. Ordered it last week at Gamestop.com - looking forward to it - as it is all my kids are getting for Christmas as well. Ours was a bundle with Wii Play and Wii Sports - two remote controls, two nunchucks, a charging station and a sensor bar. So much to learn...

Nope Nat, you aren't the last. No Wii action here, that I can predict. We've tossed the idea around, but with our budget still reeeediculously tight from the adoption journey we are low-keying Christmas this year again.
