I had a discussion the other night with some other bloggers about saving money. All of them shared great stories about how they're able to save lots of money with coupons, CVS, getting free stuff, etc. I shared how I have the "pay full price and then some" blessing.
So I'm starting a new feature called "Natalie Attempts to Save Money Again." I'll show you how I try over and over to use coupons, get free stuff, etc and how it almost always backfires on me and I end up paying full price or even more. And how, you ask, can someone pay more than the asking price for something?
Let's just say I attempted to save $20 yesterday and it ended up costing me over $1,000. Stay tuned for the entire story.

Very interested in this. I too do not have the knack for saving money and CVSing. I am looking forward to this.
Okay.... I'm hooked. Now spill. What in the world happened that you would be paying $1000? Did you get hit? Did one of the kids knock over a plasma tv? Ready for the rest of the story.
