Actions Speak Louder than Words

In my observation of "Christians" in this country, some are against homosexuality because it's against God's law but do you know how many "Christians" I know that don't even follow the 10 commandments? They don't go to church, use God's name in vain, have affairs, steal, lie, have children out of wedlock, sex before marriage, and still have the absurdity to say homosexuals are against the Bible. I think it's wonderful they they (homosexuals) can be protected under the same marriage laws of heterosexuals.

I understand that the cynicism has foundation, but despite hypocrites, God really does say that homosexuality is a perversion. I could never condone giving a gay relationship the same distinction as marriage. The American idea of marriage has been perverted too. I think both developments are quite sad.

It's hard to speak out against homosexuality without being branded a gay hater/phobic because there are too many in the opposition that fit the stereotype that the commenter on the message board described.

The thing to do is to love people: homosexual, Christian, Muslim, friend, enemy. That changes hearts and minds.
