It Sounded a Little Pitchy

After months of sub-par television, tonight was a TV double-header with American Idol and Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). I know a lot of bloggers like to do AI recaps, but since I couldn't sing my way out of a paper bag and I don't know pitchy from kitschy, I decided my musical opinion really doesn't matter. However, I thought I'd throw my two cents in on everything but the singing.

Idol I'd be Most Afraid of if they came into my hospital room to take my temperature: Amanda Overmeyer. She reminds me of Lisa Marie Presley. And neither of those women would I want to meet in a dark alley.

Idol That Needs to visit Super Cuts: Brooke, please cut your bangs. They bother me. And while we're at Super Cuts, let's take advantage of their two for one deal this week and get Jason Castro some new locks.

Idol who needs to wear a shirt with sleeves so I don't have to look at her GIGANTIC tattoo every week: Carly. It's starting to scare me.

Idol with a GIGANTIC tattoo who had the most striking eyes tonight: Carly

Idols who need to stop talking to the judges: All of them! We don't need to know the why and how.

Idol who looks like Dr. Pratt on ER: Chikezie

Idol who is enrolled in the Paula Abdul school of fashion: Ramiele. She so stole that hat right out of Paula's closet.

Idol who should watch the show from the comfort of her own couch next week: Kristy Lee Cook

If you happen to know pitchy from kitschy, then you might be interested in what some other bloggers thought about tonight's performances. You can visit here and here for more great reviews.

Did you know that Brooke is a beauty school dropout? Maybe that's the reason for the bangs.

I think Priscilla Presley looks like Lily from the Munsters. Totally scary and fake.

And I noticed that you had nothing to say about David Cook. THAT's cuz there's nothing bad TO say about him. He's too perfect. My money is on him.

I loved your non-musical take on the night! Carly's eyes really were striking, espeicially with that red shirt!

This is great! I haven't been able to watch as much as I would have liked to this season, and it's fun to hear about more than who sang what.
