Aren't You Glad I Asked?

Brown Sugar was with her friend Chicken Nugget today. It was Chicken Nugget's second day of preschool and I asked her what they did in class today. Here was Chicken Nugget's enthusiastic answer:

"We climbed through a caterpillar butt."

Yes, the leaders of tomorrow embarking on their quest for knowledge in a most unusual place. Obviously, her answer begged the follow-up question,

"WHAT????!!!!! Did you just say you climbed through a caterpillar butt?"

"Yes."

"Why...what...how do you climb through a caterpillar butt?"

"Well, we had this pop up caterpillar thing that we play in (like a play hut, I think) and yesterday we started at his head and climbed through. Today we started at his butt."

Of course. It all makes sense now.
