To welcome all my guests from the Ultimate Blog Party this week, I'm posting some of my favorite party recipes and tips. This recipe is for those die-hard chocolate lovers. Enjoy!
8 oz. unsweetened dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. milk
1-1/4 c. brown sugar
2 t. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
Melt chocolate with butter and milk, and stir over low heat until smooth. Stir in sugar and vanilla, then combine with other ingredients and pour into 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Remove from pan and cool. Slice cake in three even layers. Spread each layer with filling and pile on top of each other. Frost top with more filling and dust with confectioner's sugar and cocoa.

6 T. plain yogurt
Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and combine with other ingredients.

Making this this weekend - even borrowed a springform pan to do it! Can't wait to lavish it on my pregnant sister-in-law . . . Yes, my little bro is gonna be a daddy - can't wait to be an auntie, and am loving spoiling my sister-in-law! Thanks for the yummies!
