With a chill in the air, we'll all be looking for fun things to do inside before long. The Curiosity Connection located inside the State Museum of Pennsylvania is a great idea for kids ages 2 thru 7.
The adventure begins in a Child’s Magical Bedroom and continues through secret portals leading to an entire miniature world of Curiosity. Other areas such as The Living Forest, Industry and Transportation Zone, Farm Land, Construction Zone and Art Wall allow children to discover the world around them and express their creativity through interactive play. Infants and toddlers will find activities, puzzles, puppets and more in their own special place.
Through November 26, the Curiosity Connection has an expanded play area called "Imagine You're a Farmer." Create a barn and barnyard. Harvest your fruits and vegetables to sell at market. Drive your prize winning pig to the county fair. Try milking a cow.
The hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 Noon – 4:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per child and $4 per adult.
