Healthy Lifestyle Challenge - Week #7

Drum roll, please.....

150.

(I'm not going to always post a picture of the scale b/c the logistics of doing that have contributed to me getting this post out late almost every week. But you can bet your bottom dollar that if I'm under 150 next week...there WILL be a picture)

Yes, I finally made it down to 150. Which means that there is a good possibility that I'll make it under 150 next week.

Yahoo.

And, I was able to wear a pair of black pants yesterday that had gotten way too tight over the last several months. So I'm liking it. I'm definitely on the "slow and steady" path but that works for me.

With the exception of exercise, I'm still doing well with all the healthy disciplines that I've incorporated. I really think that not eating in the evenings and cutting down on the soda have been the biggest contributors to the weight loss. Now if I can just get the excercise going!

So how did you do this week? Link up and tell us.

Question for next week: What have you learned about yourself over the last six weeks from doing this challenge?

Congrats. That's excellent progress.

As for what I've learned? Life is still way too unpredictable and not nearly as "settled" as I'd hoped. Participation in this challenge has been way too spotty for my taste. I'm hatching up some changes to help with that. . . . barring any other outbreaks of strep, flu, or catoomey of the collywabbles. Humph!

Honestly, despite incorporating some healthy changes, I just can't seem to commit to exercising. I've been eating slower and not snacking at night ('cept for a late dinner last night around 9pm of a half a cheese steak and some onion rings).

I was also told by my doctor to cut back on the caffeine, but I'll post more about that later!

Congrats!!!

I've become a bit introspective this week but that's not uncommon for me to do periodically.
