Jim took this picture. All those black spots are flies that joined our family reunion. Apparently hog farms draw flies and even though I couldn't even see a hog farm, the consensus was that the overwhelming number of flies had been drawn in by the hogs. you must have missed the discussion..the hog farm was just beyond that cluster of trees that was 2 cornfields away. it was next to great aunt someone's old farm that has hogs and soybeans. if you followed the crick past the neighbors farm it wouldn't take you long to get to it.
Yuck! But, I've noticed the flies have been bad even around here this past year. I wonder if we moved near a hog farm??
