Food Never Tasted So Good

I arrived back home around noon. Everything went well. They did find one polyp, but apparently there are two types of polyps, one kind can turn malignant and the other kind never will. My polyp is the kind that never will turn malignant. But they removed it and sent it out for testing just to be sure. He said he'd see me back in another 5 years.

I was out for 26 minutes and awoke within a few minutes of them being done. My first piece of business upon leaving was stopping at Wendy's and getting a Frosty. Now I'm having some italian ice. I'll move on to the more substantial foods after my nap.

I hope this neverending series of posts informed you more about colon cancer and the screenings available. Hopefully most of you won't need a colonoscopy until you're 50, and when you do go, just remember I will have already have had 4 by that time.

Lucky me!

Thank you so much for being candid about this procedure. I actually enjoyed (not sure if this is the right word to use) reading your description. :)

Congrats on having an un-nasty polyp!

And yes, I've found a Wendy's Frosty to be the best band-aid of all.

Wow.. thanks.. it's nice to hear the experiences of someone younger than my parents say that it's not as bad as some make it out to be. It's like women's labor stories.. all your life you hear how horrible it is, then one day you hear a positive story and it make you hope that yours will be the same.. :)
