Our jaws dropped open and the Chic-Fil-A went silent yesterday when a former president walked into the restaurant to order lunch. I didn't see any secret service agents but I'm sure they were lurking somewhere, after all, I imagine Thomas Jefferson still needs protection even after all these years.
Yes, a man dressed to the hilt as Thomas Jefferson was at Chic-Fil-A. Say Anything was with me and went right over and asked why in the world he was dressed like the former statesman. Apparently, his full time job is to travel around to different meetings, conferences, schools, etc and talk about Colonial life. He was on his way to Harrisburg to speak to a group of physicians about medical practices in the 1800s.
We only wished we would've had our cameras...because you know there would've been a picture!

Very cool! Sounds like a fun job. I wonder which former President or statesman I look like? Think I could get a side job? :)
On another note, we're still awaiting pics of the room re-do's that you did a while back? :)
I wish I was there! I have so many questions for Jefferson. :)
