Are you looking for a great summer activity that will teach your kids about helping others as well as give them a better understanding of what is happening in missions around the world? On June 17, Moms in Action is going to GAIN (Global Aid Network) in Lancaster. This is a great opportunity to help prepare shipments of aid that will be sent around the world. There are age appropriate jobs for everyone from elementary age on up.
You will provide valuable assistance toward packing and processing items like shoes, vegetable seeds, clothing, CarePacks of school supplies, Teddy bears or other aid that will go out in shipments to places such as various countries in Africa, Belarus, Central Asia, the Middle East, Russia, and Ukraine among others.
We'll leave the church at 8:30 and return by 3:30. Sign up at the Missions desk at CCC or by e-mailing momzinaction@yahoo.com. Snacks and lunch are provided.
