WICHITA, KS: Deputies say a woman in western Kansas became stuck on her boyfriend's toilet after sitting on it for two years.
Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple said it appeared the 35-year-old Ness City woman's skin had grown around the seat. She initially refused emergency medical services but was finally convinced by responders and her boyfriend that she needed to be checked out at a hospital.
"We pried the toilet seat off with a pry bar and the seat went with her to the hospital," Whipple said. "The hospital removed it."
Whipple said investigators planned to present their report Wednesday to the county attorney, who will determine whether any charges should be filed against the woman's 36-year-old boyfriend.
"She was not glued. She was not tied. She was just physically stuck by her body," Whipple said. "It is hard to imagine. ... I still have a hard time imagining it myself."
He told investigators he brought his girlfriend food and water, and asked her every day to come out of the bathroom.
"And her reply would be, `Maybe tomorrow,"' Whipple said. "According to him, she did not want to leave the bathroom."

You can read the rest of the story here.
The next paragraph said that the boyfriend called the police saying there was something wrong with his girlfriend. Yaaaa think! Good grief.
As you read on Monday, TCC has stretched my analytical thinking thanks to her Monday's Musings. So I put on my "what would TCC think about this story" hat and my brain really started whirling with all these unanswered questions...
Why did it take the boyfriend TWO years to call? Why didn't her employer come looking for her? Did they have other bathrooms? If not, what did the boyfriend do when he needed to go? Wouldn't she occasionally fall off when sleeping? I wonder how much toilet paper you use after sitting on a toilet for that long? Was the seat cushioned? Did she have reading material? Was the toilet ever cleaned in those two years? If not, didn't the bathroom reek? My toilet becomes clogged at least once a year, didn't she ever have to deal with a clogged toilet?
What questions do you have?

Yup - I was definitely asking those questions. Also - eating in the bathroom? That is just gross. And no showers?!? Yuch. How did they keep this a secret?!?
My brain is short-circuiting on this one...
oh. my. gosh. is this for real? what the heck was going through his mind? what sent her there in the first place? was she pouting? hiding? sick? come on - this is insane.
besides all that, who on earth has a bathroom nice enough to want to be there for two hours, let alone two years? well, some of you might, but with my avocado green tiles and gold sparkley floor, NOT I!
