I Did It!

I made it through the entire list of Bloggy Giveaways. At some points, I had my doubts if I could do it but I stayed focus, paced myself and fought my way through the nearly 900 items for grabs. Now before Living Life passes out from amazement, let me say that I didn't actually visit every single site, just the ones that interested me.

I regsitered for a boatload of gift cards from Starbucks, Target, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Home Depot, Amazon, Panera, and even some Pay Pal gift cards. I'm hoping to win personalized notecards, digital cards, mommy cards and greeting cards. I put my name in for children's clothes, clothes for me and a ton of aprons. I'm not sure why I felt compelled to enter for about 25 aprons...but I did. I'm also looking forward to stocking my book shelf with at least one of the 89 books I saw and for at least 2 or 3 of the pampering baskets.

I'm also optimistic that I could snag some chocolate or cookie mixes or bread mixes or dip mixes, but mainly I just want the chocolate or the stuff from Tastefully Simple or Pampered Chef. Hopefully this site will be the recipient of a much needed makeover and that I can add a piece or two of new bling to my jewelry box.

What didn't I register for? Believe it or no...quite a bit! I didn't go for any of the scrapbooking stuff, cookbooks, boxes shorts, lice spray, children's books, Webkins or Beanie Babies, DVDs or baby items. Nor was I tempted by any of the "mystery" prizes, light bulbs or paintings by other people's kids.

So what are my odds of winning anything?? Probably somewhat slim. But I had fun and it resulted in a ton of marketing for my new site so it was a very worthwhile investment of my time this week.

Now I must go rest my weary, mouse-clicking wrist. I think I feel giveaway-itis setting in. Plus, I'm pretty sure I'm going to see random numbers and letters in my sleep for the next week from all those word verifications.
