Works-for-me-Wednesday: Keeping Track of my Keys

I have a very, very bad habit of misplacing my car keys all the time. I never can find them when I'm at home, and then we we're out I'm constantly digging in my purse trying to find them.

I just discovered a simple solution.

I attached my keys to a carabiner clip and then clipped that to the straps of my purse. Voila! The keys are easy to access, easy to attach and I always know where to find them.

Carabiner clips can be found in any hardware store.

And that works for me on this rainy Tuesday. Visit Shannon for over 100 mom tested and approved tips and ideas.

Thanks for the tip! I'm cracking up that you know the name of the clip--I would have just had to describe it--badly! The baby loves to play with my keys but of course always drops them--I could clip them on my diaper bag and let her entertain herself without having to worry if we'll be able to drive home from the store!

That's a good idea!

Somehow I created a habit to help me keep up with my keys. I only buy purses that have an inside pocket or even a pocket on the outside and make myself drop them in there everytime.

MY problem is my five year old that likes to steal my keys!!
