I was having a hard time figuring out a great tip to share and then I remembered that today is the first day of spring, and that can only mean one thing: FREE Italian Ice at Rita's!
Yes, every year on the first day of spring Rita's Italian Ice gives away free Italian Ice. And they don't giveaway a dinky Dixie-Cup of Ice, they giveaway a full-size, melt in your mouth Ice.
I really don't know if Rita's is found in all parts of the nation, but if you have one in your area head on over today with the kiddoes and get yourself some FREE Italian Ice.
And, if you happen to live in my area (and you know who you are), Maggie's in Mechanicsburg is also doing the same promotion today!

Free Italian Ice and free Dunkin' Donuts Iced coffee today?? I'm pretty sure Starbucks has something going on too. I'm all set for drinks today! ;) Thanks for sharing! =)
Alas..we don't have a Rita...or a DD, but we do have a Starbucks! So I'm off to check it out. You've got me hankering for an iced coffee fix now...lol.
The first day of spring and we have SNOW so I need something warm. We don't have a Rita's and I am an hour from the nearest Starbucks but thanks anyway!
We loved the Italian Ice (even if the outside temperature was the same temperature as the ice), and I persevered in hoping that we were going for an after-dinner Maggie's, but after dinner, getting the kids to bed sounded a little more exciting. Sadness. Next year! But I did get the Magic Eraser you recommended last time, and it worked great on the pencilled drawings on the wall.
