Teaching Hospitality to Kids

It's never too early to start teaching our kids how to have a hospitable heart. From an early age, we can teach them how to reach out to others. Visiting nursing homes, taking a meal to an elderly neighbor, and raking leaves for a vacationing friend are all great ways to help your children learn hospitality.

I also like to involve my children in all aspects of entertaining when we have guests. Whether it is helping to plan the menu, setting the table, or taking coats, all these tasks help children play an active role in extending hospitality.
