1. Plan for children's boredom: make space in a cupboard and fill it with prepared activities.
2. Prepare grocery list ahead of time: Organize your list by store aisles, including brand names you prefer.
3. Schedule Your Tasks: do routine tasks, such as laundry, on a specific day of the week.
4. Make a reference binder: Create a three-ring binder with takeout menus, phone lists, birthdays, emergency information and whatever else you frequently need.
5. Control phone usage: limit phone conversations, turn off the phone ringer once in a while. If you have a answering machine, return calls at your convenience.
With the extra time you've saved, visit a friend, take a walk, read a good book or just relax.

Love These Tips! Great ideas for helping us gain control of, and not be slave to, the daily grind of life :)
Thanks for the encouragement.
