Cherry Crest Farm

If you are tired of the same old stuff, I've got a family activity that's anything but old.

Take the family to Cherry Crest Farm in Lancaster to experience the Amazing Maize Maze. It is a 5-acre Corn Maze with over 2.5 miles of paths, scenic bridges, clues, and two Maze Masters.

You are set inside "the maze and challenged with finding your way to the end as you interact with the Kernels of Knowledge along with a variety of clues, tunnel slides, watering stations, and much more! You will be swayed along as the "Maze Master" spins tunes from a musical library that appeals to just about every musical taste. Oh, and don't forget to check out our bird's eye view from the two bridges where you can see everyone's flags waving high above the corn! The average time to complete the maze is about 1 hour, but don't worry, plenty of help is stationed along the way if you get turned around." According to their Web site, they've never lost anyone yet!

In addition to the Maze, Cherry Crest Farm has a plethora of activities to entertain the entire family. Here are just a few of the attractions you will see:

Farm Wagon Tour
2 Separate Pedal Kart Tracks
Bee Hive Observation
Baby Chicks Hatchery
Logic Mazes
Singing Chicken Show
Obstacle Course
Hay Chute Giant Slide
Hay Tunnel
Hay Jump
Pumpkin Slinging
Lil' Farmers Playland

The Amazing Maize Maze has been featured the Today Show, Good Morning America, Lifetime Cable, People Magazine, and in Sports Illustrated for Kids. Bet you didn't know we had such a popular attraction in our backyard!

And hey, make sure you visit the Web site for directions, hours of operation, special events, and admission coupons.
