I love Curious George, and I'm happy to report that he's back for our little cherubs to now enjoy. Beginning on Monday, September 4, Curious George will have a new show airing on PBS. George, the Man with the Yellow Hat, Hundley and the rest of the gang are all back along with new characters and locales.
Targeted to 3-5 years olds, George is always finding new things to explore and investigate. Of course, George always finds trouble as he's exploring the world around him. His explorations often lead to "unintended consequences."
Until I visited the Web site, I never realized that Curious George was created to "to inspire children to explore science, engineering, and math in the world around them. And what better guide is there for this kind of exploration than the world's most curious monkey?"
The Web site also includes printables, video clips, games and other educational tie ins to the show. If you have a Curious George fan in your house, I highly recommend you visit the Web site.
Check your local listing to see when Curious George airs. If you live in the Susquehanna Valley, WITF will air Curious George at 7:00 a.m.
